Zoom Songwriter Circle January 14th!

The North Florida Folk Network is excited to announce we are holding another Zoom Songwriter Circle online on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 from 7-9 pm! The event will be hosted by Cindy Bear and Franc Robert (Bear and Robert).

Happy New Year to our valued artists, supporters, and fans!

We are excited to continue our virtual Songwriter Circle into the new year, and Bear and Robert will be hosting our event from 7-9 pm on Thursday, January 14, 2021!

You do not have to be a member to join in, and listeners are welcome too!

You can join the Zoom event at the link here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81210200250

If you do not have Zoom, you will be prompted to download it once you click on the link. It is FREE and only takes a few minutes, so grab it early before the event starts if you can at: https://zoom.us/

You can also find the link on the event listed on our Facebook page and NFFN website.  We will start hosting the meeting around 6:30 pm in case you want to try and test your connection out first before it starts.

You will need a device with a built-in or attached camera and microphone, such as a iPad, cell phone, laptop, or tablet. Some desktop computers may not have these features. Please enable, "original sound" if you can. It's not required, but it helps our listeners hear you better!

Everyone who attends is welcome to share a few of their original songs, poetry, or prose, and listen to other participating writers. This is a great opportunity to get your words and music out to the universe, see old friends, and make new ones too. We may have to stay socially distanced, but we can still stay socially connected!

Also, we draw a new songwriting prompt once a month for the next month's song theme. The prompt for January is, "Renaissance." The word does not have to be in the title or the theme of the song, it just has to be mentioned somewhere in the song.  Trying to write a song with the prompt is voluntary - it just gives us a challenge and helps keep things interesting and fun!

While it is not quite the same as being together in person, it will be fun to see and interact with each other, and play some music!

If you have any questions, please send us a message on this page, or contact Cindy Bear at (904) 626-2829.

Thank you for your support of the North Florida Folk Network, and hope to see you there!
