Listen to music from members of the North Florida Folk Network!

Our Story

The North Florida Folk Network (NFFN) is a nonprofit organization created:

  • To identify, protect, preserve, encourage and promote traditional and contemporary folk and acoustic music.
  • To educate the public in folk tradition by publicizing, encouraging, sponsoring, and producing concerts, jams, open mics, newsletters, web sites and other events.
  • To encourage the development of local folk talent and to showcase local, state and national performers.
  • To promote and encourage songwriters and their arts and skills.

Our Community

  • Individuals can join NFFN as Artist members.
  • Families or Groups (for example duos and bands) can join as Family/Group members.
  • Artist and Family/Group Members will have a Profile listed in our Artists Directory, will be notified by email of events and opportunities and can also submit their music to be featured on our website as part of our Playlist.
  • Performance venues, music related businesses, and community organizations can join us as Supporters or as Family/Group members.
  • Anyone can simply sign up as a fan (free) just to receive our emails announcing events.
  • Anyone can follow us and our events on Social Media (see “Connect With Us” at the top of this page).
