*Bonus Challenge* - write a song that contains all of the suggested song prompts for the word of the month drawing (or have them in the title):
“Angel, Hair, Lace, Grand, Wild, Florida, Hands, Burrito”
We can't wait to hear your songs, poems, or short stories at our online Songwriter Circle, hosted by Bear and Robert!
This is a safe place to bring your works of art from the heart.
You do not have to be a member to join in, and listeners are welcome too!
You can join the Zoom event at the link here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86188784236
If you do not have Zoom, you will be prompted to download it once you click on the link above. It is FREE and only takes a few minutes, so grab it early before the event starts if you can at: https://zoom.us/
You can also find the link to the event listed on our Facebook page and NFFN website.
Also, we use a new voluntary songwriting prompt once a month for the next month's song theme. The word does not have to be in the title or the theme, it just needs to be mentioned somewhere in the song.
Trying to write a song with the voluntary prompt is a good challenge to keep us writing, and helps keep things interesting and fun!
You will need a device with a built-in or attached camera and microphone, such as a iPad, cell phone, laptop, or tablet. Some desktop computers may not have these features.
Everyone who attends is welcome to share a few of their original songs, poetry, or prose, and listen to other participating writers. This is a great opportunity to get your words and music out to the universe, see old friends, and make new ones too. We may have to stay socially distanced, but we can still stay socially connected!
If you have any questions, please send us a message on this page, or contact Cindy Bear at (904) 626-2829.
Hope to see you there, and thank you for your support of the North Florida Folk Network!
